1、 Overview of oil fracturing proppant

Oil fracturing proppant is a ceramic particle product with high fracturing strength and belongs to environmental protection product.

The oil fracturing proppant is made of fine bauxite, coal and other raw materials and sintered ceramics. It is a substitute for medium and low strength proppants such as natural quartz sand, glass balls and metal balls, and has a good effect on increasing oil and natural gas production.

At present, our commonly used proppants mainly include quartz sand, bauxite, ceramsite sand and resin coated composite particles.

2、 Performance of oil fracturing proppant

1. The oil fracturing proppant shall have sufficient compressive strength and wear resistance, be able to accept the strong pressure and friction during injection, and effectively support artificial cracks.

2. The relative density of oil fracturing proppant particles should be low, which is convenient for pumping into the well.

3. The particle size of oil fracturing proppant should meet the design requirements of different oil wells, generally 0.4~0.8mm, with roundness and sphericity greater than 0.9, average particles, lubricated appearance, and turbidity value less than 100 degrees to achieve the highest possible conductivity.

4. The oil fracturing proppant particles will not react chemically with fracturing fluid and reservoir fluid at 200 ℃, and the maximum allowable acid solubility should be less than 7%.

3、 Function of oil fracturing proppant

As ceramsite is a kind of oil fracturing proppant, the role of oil fracturing proppant is as follows:

1. The oil fracturing proppant is applicable to the filtration of supporting layer or industrial water in the biochemical treatment of sewage.

2. Suitable for coarse filtration of industrial wastewater;

3. It is applicable to the biochemical treatment of urban sewage;

4. It is applicable to concentration treatment and reuse after secondary treatment in urban sewage plants;

5. It can be used in BAF-N tank or DN-P filter tank.

6. It can be used for pretreatment of polluted tableland water and filter filler of industrial water in water supply process.

7. The ability of oil fracturing proppant to absorb and intercept pollutants is well known. Such good performance determines that it can be used to backfill toilets, not only at low cost, but also very sanitary.
